Getting Started

Opening TalentForge

  1. Go to talentforge.icosystem.id in your browser.
  2. On the welcome page, click Sign In (or Get Started). Both take you to the sign-in page.

💡 Tip: If you're already signed in, the sign-in page skips straight to your Home dashboard.

Signing In

The sign-in page first asks how you'd like to sign in. You'll see two choices:

  • Continue with Google — sign in with your company Google account.
  • Continue with Email — sign in with a TalentForge username and password.

Continue with Google

  1. Click Continue with Google.
  2. Pick your work Google account (for example, your company email address).
  3. You land on the Home dashboard.

This is the main way to sign in. Your account must already have been set up by a TalentForge admin, and your email domain must be one your company allows.

💡 Tip: New accounts have no password. When an admin creates your account you get an email titled "Your TalentForge account is ready" — just choose Continue with Google and use the work address it names.

Continue with Email (username and password)

This option is for older accounts that were given a password.

  1. Click Continue with Email.
  2. Enter your Username and Password.
  3. Click Sign in →.

To go back to the Google option, click Other sign-in options under the form.

Common mistakes to avoid:

  • Typing your email address in the Username box. Despite the button's name, this form needs your short username (like hrbp_sam), not your email.
  • Using this form when your account was created for Google sign-in. Those accounts have no password, so the form will always say "Incorrect username or password". Use Continue with Google instead.

💡 Tip: If you only see the Google button, password sign-in has been switched off. Use Continue with Google.

💡 Tip: If Google sign-in is refused, check which Google account is active in that browser. A personal Gmail account that is signed in alongside your work account is the most common cause.

Your First Visit

The first time you open the Home dashboard, a short welcome tour points out each module in turn. Click Next and Back to move through it, and Got it to finish. You can close it at any time.

The tour only runs once — finishing or closing it counts as "seen", even on other devices.

Each module page also has its own short tour the first time you open it, showing what to do there.

💡 Tip: Missed something? Click Take a tour at the bottom of the sidebar to replay the tour for the page you're on. On Home, it replays the welcome tour.

Everything lives in the sidebar on the left of every page:

  • Home — your dashboard
  • Talent Finder — the employee directory
  • Organisation Structure — reporting lines and the org tree
  • Career Navigator — career path explorer
  • Data Enrichment — LinkedIn profile import
  • Chat With Data — AI analytics chat
  • Position Match — rank internal candidates for a vacancy
  • Interview assessments — interview verdicts from SWORD (only if an admin has given you access)
  • Talent movement — joiners, movers and leavers since 2024 (only if an admin has given you access)
  • Similarity Search — find look-alike employees
  • User Admin — (admins only) see User Admin

The page you're on is highlighted with a white, outlined box.

At the bottom of the sidebar you'll find:

  • Take a tour — replays the guided tour for the current page.
  • User Guide — opens this guide in a new tab.
  • Your name and photo — opens your Profile.
  • Logout — signs you out.

Other handy controls:

  • Collapse the sidebar with the round arrow button on its right edge. It shrinks to icons only — hover over an icon to see its name. TalentForge remembers your choice on that browser.
  • Click the TalentForge logo (top-left) to go back to Home.
  • The round AI button in the bottom-right corner opens Chat With Data from any page.

On a Phone or Narrow Window

On small screens the sidebar is hidden. Tap the menu button (☰) at the top-left to open it, then tap a page. The menu closes by itself. The bar at the top also shows the name of the page you're on.

Understanding Your Access (Business Units)

Almost everything you see in TalentForge — employees, plans, charts, chat results — is filtered to the Business Units (BUs) assigned to your account.

  • Two HRBPs may see completely different data depending on their BU assignments.
  • Some accounts have All business units. They see the whole organisation, including business units added later.
  • You cannot change your BU scope yourself. A TalentForge admin sets it.
  • If you need access to more BUs, or to Interview assessments or Talent movement, contact your admin.

Where to check your BUs: the Home greeting shows how many business units you manage, and your Profile page lists them by name.

💡 Note: Two things are not filtered by business unit. The Incoming hires counts on the Home dashboard cover all hiring memos in SWORD — numbers only, never names. And Interview assessments, if you have access, lists every interviewed applicant.

💡 Tip: This isn't a bug — it's a security feature ensuring each HRBP only sees their area of responsibility.
